I don't have any pics either,But when I had my '99 Silverado I mounted the Pioneer control head in my overhead console, Right where the rear climate controls would be in a Tahoe/Suburban, It looked great there and gave the console somekind of purpose other than just holding my sunglasses!! :nono:

I have a Pioneer unit controlled by the HU.

I put the module inside my Denali console where I took out the sub. Makes a great place to stash audio components. Out of site and easy to access to work on.

I just let my 3 month free trail subscription lapse on my 04 Yukon's built in XM radio. I listen to rock only and there was just no selection, IMO. One decent (but not great) mix station and one hard core metal station were about the best of it. Am I missing something station wise? Can I use the built in to get another service or is it XM only? Sure didn't seem worth the $10 a month to me.

Jeb,

I have been an XM subscriber for two years and I am surprised by your suggestion that there are only two stations for rock. I think there are closer to fifteen 40-55 plus other channels 6, 7, 8 & 9 that include rock as part of the period that they are focused on. If anything I think that XM subdivides the rock two much. I personally prefer a variety of rock and usually switch between 44, 45 & 54. Beyond that I listen to Espn, Nascar, Fox, Jazz, Reggae and Country.

I feel for the time I spend in the car 40,000 mi/yr XM is well worth the price.

I mounted mine in on overhead console that I added to my Tahoe. I've had XM since Feb and don't think I could live without it. I recently got a 2nd unit, a Roady2, so I can listen at work and home.
