first go to the auto parts store get 3157's bulbs. when you pop the hood unlock the headlight pins pull out then remove the headlight then reach down on the white daytime running lamp clip press, turn and pull.Good luck

The manual (at least mine does) has a set of instructions..... I'd post the page numbers, but it the weather is a bit mean this morning outside. As the previous message sez, just remove the headlamp assembly and you easily get to the DRL and parking lights.

And while you are at it, get amber long life lights, if you like that sort of thing--very bright and distinquishes your truck from the others. Part number: Sylvania 3157NALL LONG-LIFE bulbs. Also, clean out your bulb socket and apply bulb grease, available from the same parts store where you get your bulbs. Photo below:

Hey Guys

Is there an easy way to clean the plastic lens? When my DRL burnt out it 'smoked over the lense cover. I put the amber DRL's in a couple of days ago. Now one is clouded and the other is clear.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Yes, I'd recommend the amber as well. Put them in shortly after getting my 99 and so far so good. Maybe some carwash soap and a little water to wash that clouded area up. I'm sure you could try a few other solutions if that doesn't cut it.

I figure a little soap will get r' done...

Just dont know how to get in there. Is there an easy way to remove the lens or get in from behind without dismantling the whole front end?
