while on my way into work this morning I was listening to the local news radio station when the air traffic reporter started reporting of a persuit where the police were chasing an Escalade which was stolen. Apparently the Police got a call from Onstar stating that the vehicle was stolen and gave the location of the vehicle. There was a short chase before the suspects bailed from the vehicle and with the help of the traffic reporter in the coptor, both suspects were aprehended. I couldn't help but shout in excitment both at the aprehension of the suspects and the way Onstar worked. Click on this to listen to the chase. Make sure you listen to all of it!

I got a Tahoe back one time that the owner had left running unattended. It got taken for a short joyride and was left behind an apartment building just outside our city.
