DENALI33 Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 I can not locate a website or ad that sells chrome letters for my grill. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Bud8 Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 Try this guy out. I bought vinyl decals from him a few times and he does an excellent job. You can probably check out some of his work at "zr2.com" His post name there is "rogerbaby" or you can reach him at www.stores.ebay.com/devriessigns He did some nice looking carbon fiber decals for my ZR2 Sonoma I used to have.
Frank S Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 Roger is definitely a good guy to deal with. He's produced several great decals for me in the past. If you are looking for an actual "chrome" emblem, search ebay for GMC Billet grill emblem, or whatever part you're looking for.

shortyjpo Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 Try www.stylinconcepts.com. I think I saw some there. Can't remember if they were brushed or chrome though.
gmcjoe Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 I think Trenz is the only company making them currently? I considered it, but for $75-$80 retail I went another route and painted my letters to match the truck

gmcjoe Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 So, is that Charcoall Grey or Black? Grille looks good. So just sand, prime it, and paint it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It is Storm Gray. I had to carefully disassemble the GMC letters from the chrome backing. I sanded them each smooth. Used a correct primer and followed it up with a few coats of rattle can Duplicolor paint, wet sanding between coast. Then a few coats of clear, wet sanding between each of those. Came out nice
