Tail light sockets

I was thinking about trading places with my tail lights, move the brake to the run or getting a new socket that will make four lights on in the back,

What ya'll think

I will try to explain, move the run and brake to the turn position and the turn to the run brake position, or get a run brake lite socket and wire it up to be a run turn like the Dodge set-up

this is on a 04

You could switch the wires before they get to the socket, but why would you want to do this?

I was looking at them and the top is running and stop, and the next one is off execpt when you apply the brake, then you got the back-up, and the bottom is a small turn

I would like to make the middle be on also, not just a brake only, like put a 3157 4157 type bulb like the OBS -02

look at a dodge tails that is what I would like it to do

Ok, I understand now. I guess that you could try tapping off of the wiring for the top lts and wiring in 2 sockets like the tops lts have, and deleting the sockets that are there for the middle lts (remove the sockets and cap the wiring). One worry I would have though would be an increase in current...any time you add branches to a parallel circuit, the total circuit amperage increases (as total circuit resistance decreases), and you run the risk of blowing a fuse, or melting a wire.

With a shematic, I'm sure there's something that can be accomplished. If you had a trailer you'd be adding running and brake lights right?...maybe use some of that technology to accomplish what you're trying to do.

What year, model, etc. do you have?
