yeah its fine, just bad on gas mileage. the reason the tranny stays cooler is by design, the lag time in the shift get smaller (quicker shift) and the line pressure is increased (firm shift), these two factors help keep the tranny cooler.

Hey thanks for the info. I have another ?

Is that okay to disengage tow/haul on the fly. What I do is I use tow/haul on the streets, but disengage it on the hiway at about 60-65 mph. This should not cause any problems should it?

Absolutly no problems. It isn't a mechanical change when the tow button is engaged, just another set of computer tables that are used, it will instantly switch back to the normal tables.
