Just got a brand new 05 crew cab!!

Just got it tonight! '05 Chevrolet Silverado Half Ton 4x4 Crew Cab! This is quite a step up from my '95 GMC Sonoma 4x4 Ext Cab! I did manage to break something already though. While backing into the garage it slipped on some ice and broke part of the plastic trim around the drivers side mirror So tomorrow I get to be the idiot at the dealer already getting his truck fixed Oh well, I guess it could have been worse.

Welcome to the "crew club." Congrats on the new truck. I know, based on my experience so far, you'll LOVE the truck. I especially like the fact that GM added the electric cooling fans for 05, wish my 04 had that. Post some pix when you get the chance. Congratualations again!!

Mine's 3 days old. 05 crew cab 1500, LS model. Feels like a luxury car compared to my lifted explorer! (i got 2 links in my sig)

 

you going to mod it at all? im looking into exhaust first..

The truck is a LS with the Z71 package. There is so much room in there! It came with the XM radio which I was trying to avoid (don't really listen to the radio). Now that I have XM though I really like it. I can finally get stations that I like to listen too instead of the pitiful 5 or 6 that I can get way up north. I'll take some pics and post soon!

Nice truck you got there! I have the GMC version but without the XM/Onstar. I was looking all over my area for a Silverado 4x4 with a front bench seat but couldn't find one. A GMC popped up 30 miles from my home and I rushed out and bought it. Hope I can keep this truck for a long time!

I got mine a month ago and I love it! I traded in a 2001 Sonoma, which was quite the upgrade.
