The "Fast and the Furious"

Ok, I just got done watching the DVD "ricer" movie "The Fast and the Furious".

My opinion is that the movie is OK if you have nothing better to do for 1:45!!!

The black Charger (or is it a Challenger) is sweet, but the other cars don't do a thing for me... (except for maybe the Toyota Supra Turbo, although I prefer it in stock trim).

Has anyone else seen this movie???

I made the mistake of buying it before I saw it. I agree the charger is sweet but hardly worth the price of admission. THe only other redeming quality of the movie is the inclusion of some babes in tight pants.

Absolutly!! Any movie that has a Diablo,XJ220,Ferrari,and a Hummer in it has to be good right ? Oh and then there's the fact that Ms Jolie was in it . :love:

Yeah, I watched it the other day, didn't waste any money on it though so I don't feel that bad. I just lost an hour and a half that I could've been posting. Oh wait, I was on here while the movie was going, it just couldn't compete w/ GMT.

The whole plot was sort of iffy on the movie. It's just something that would never really happen in real life. But, I'll agree w/ you guys, the girls in the short shorts and tight tops were very nice.

But, give me gone in 60 seconds any day.

It was better than I expected it to be, but it still sucked donkey balls.

I don't like the way they dress up those cars with the spoilers and graphics and such, but that import crowd has definatly figured out how to make some serious power out of little engines.

On the recommendation of this esteemed group, my son and I watched "Gone in 60 Seconds" yesterday. Excellent choice.

Might have been the "Bash" category, but I mentioned I rented Fast and the Furious (ricer topic). Def. a joke, minus the Charger.

Gone in 60 secs much better movie, and always a pleasure seeing Angelina Jolie!

Hated seeing that Stang get trashed in the end!!

Never seen Gone in 60, but I've heard nothing but good things about it.

I rented F&F the other day. It was ok, I liked the speed, but hated the cars other than the Charger. It was a decent movie to see once, but I won't bother with it again I 'm sure.

I rented Gone in 60 Seconds. I was expecting a car movie. But there was very little car action in it. A lot of "intriguing dialog" to set up for the big chase at the end with the Shelby GT 500. And there was a little car action in the beginning, when they stole a Porsche and raced a ricer.

Frankly, I didn't like it. However, I'd like to see the original.
