New BFG 265 Tires...

   Swapped out the stock Firestone 265s and bought a new set of BFG AT KO 265s about a week ago and I can't say how much I like these new tires!  Better ride and call me stupid, but I think I'm getting slightly better mpg with them.  I take the same 2hr trip about once a month to see family and I always get 15.5 to 16 mpg round trip.  Took the same ride yesyerday and got 16.8 mpg round trip.  Maybe it's because the air pressure is higher?  

    They should get alot better snow traction this winter, too.  I drove offroad with them about a mile in some grass  hay pastures in 2wd and they definitely did better up hills than the old Firestones.   Plus they look alot better-I already got a few compliments on the appearance.  I think it's the deeper side tread that make them look more heavy-duty.   Sorry if I bored everyone   but I just like to sound off when I'm this happy with a new purchase!

Glad you like the new BFGs. I have had my 285s on for about 1000 miles and I love them.

Congrats on the upgrade.  I swapped out my stock tires for some 265 goodyear wrangler td's shortly after I bought the truck.  One of the best mods that I've done yet.

yep, I got rid of my stock Firestones a few weeks ago for a set of 285 Bridestones, best thing I ever did for the truck.

Good call with the BFG's HillHound!  There is something about a set of BFG's that really set the look of a truck off.  Hope you continue to enjoy them!
