Hi guys. Glad to be part of the family!

I have visited the forums for advice and information over the past year; there's a lot of knowledge out here that helped my buying decision.

I picked up my '04 Silverado 2500 HD 4WD Extended Cab Work Truck last Monday afternoon. It was the last 4WD Extended WT left in a 300 mile radius, so I decided to turn in my identical '04 1500 and take the HD plunge. With all the rebates and loyalty cash, I ended up paying only $100.00 more for the new one!

It's a typically equipped WT with window winders, manual locks, floor shift transfer case, and vinyl flooring. I could never understand why anyone would want carpeting, velour seats, and power windows in a truck...it's a truck after all, right?

Here's what it's got:

6.0 gas, 4.10 gears.

HD 4-spd automatic (where are the manuals GM?)

Locking Rear Differential.

Snow Plow Prep.

HD Trailering Equipment.

Deep Tinted Glass.

Roof Marker Lamps.

Deep Tinted Glass.

Spare Tire Lock.

And the cheesiest OEM tires ever. That'll change soon.

It's Black/Dark Charcoal.
