Torsion Bar Removal

I am going to be installing a 6 inch lift on my 2500HD and i need to remove the torsion bars. I was curious if anyone knows a place i can get one?

I would think that the kit would come with longer links for both ends

 

If not, I know you can get longer ones from Pep-Boys. Might be worth looking into quick disconnect ones if you are buying new ones so you can flex more when offroading.

If you're talking about the pre-loading tool, there's a guy on ebay selling them for $80 + shipping. I just got one from him (he had 3 left) earlier this week because I'm going to install green keys on my truck.

 

I believe it was OTC brand.

Freyguy I think you are reffering to the sway bar!

 

Here is a link to the OTC tool. They run about this price everywhere. The Kent-Moore tool is a little more $$$ for the same tool.
