So, I went ahead and put a deposit on this truck to pay in full after a mechanic takes a look at it. 1990 GMC Sierra V6, with 100K on the odometer. My question is, anyone with a 90 or similar vehicle what are the typical problems with the vehicle and anything I should look for when inspecting the vehicle. Any input is appreciated, and I'm new to the board! Click the thumbnail to enlarge the image. Thanks in advance guys.

Hey welcome to the forums :seeya:

As to your question...I'm not sure that truck will have the same issues as a stocker.

Any vehicle with 100k miles is going to have the little problems. Like switches going bad, minor electrical problems, etc.

If the motor has been taken care of, it should last quite a bit longer.

Tranny was an issue on some of the OBS trucks, but not all (mine is still fine at 160k miles).

By the way, that's a great looking truck! What color is that?
