I have a 2002 yukon 4.8 and I have bought most of the intakes only to turn around and sell them on ebay. I bought and installed the Trueflow intake system and I must say it made a very bid difference with low end and top end. There isnt a rumbling sound like most other intakes and you dont have to remove you factory air box. I found the best deal at powertown.com beleve me..I search.

Anyone else has messed with trueflow?

I've had mine since the time they first announced it availble, August 2002. Even drove up to their Scottsdale, AZ facility to get it.

Power coated METAL tubing, not the flimsy plasitc of the others. Uses stock airbox with foam racing filter. No "weasing" air sound. High quality silcone tube ends to the throttlebody and MAF.

Someone please explain why you would pay $250+ for a black metal tube and a $40 foam drop-in filter. Am I missing something? I know you didn't say how much you got it for but that seems to be the going price.

It sounds like:

tube = $20 (ebay)

Foam drop-in = $40 (unifilter makes all foam filters)

4clamps and 2hoses = $40 (MAX)

I must be missing something because people who have it love it, even though the True Flow dyno chart gives it Power in a range that covers all of 750RPM?(2750 to 3500) and the rest is same as stock?

someone enlighten me.

I am not putting down the product, but the price does not fit. while it may be true with other intake companies it applies the most with True Flow.
