Question re in dash 6 disc AM/FM/CD Stereo

I may have the chance in the near future to pick up a oem 6 disc AM/FM/CD player from an 03 tahoe. Does anyone know if this unit will fit/work in my 02 tahoe. I have the single disc CD stereo in my 02 now.

Yes, the CDX is the 6 disc changer and I thought you where talking about the slave cd player, but the 03 6 disc changer headunit (UC6) still will not replace your 02 headunit. For one the 03's are a full double din size and the 02's are a 1-1/2 Din and the 03's need to have the class II data bus system that is not in an 02 or earlier model.
