which make of gears?

i am now pretty set on getting a set of 4:88 gears for my 99 silverado, but now i need input on what brand has a good balnce of quality and price.. and also where to purchase them at a fair price.

Can't go wrong with Yukon or Auburn gears

I got 4.88 Yukons on mine, got them from Randy's Ring and Pinion. For $30 extra you can get the life time warranty.

He sold me the gears plus master install kits (which you will nead) with S&H and life time warranty for $530.

 

Oh first he gave me a higher price, and than I asked him if they had any special sales anytime soon and/or if he could give me a better price, and that's what he lowered it to.
