Yukon XL Denali mods

Love my '01 Yukon XL and now looking to buy a three year old Denali(6.0L) Stock sucks so her is a list of mods I plan on doing;

 

Volant CAI

Ported TB

TB Bypass

180* Tstat

NGK Plugs

Magnaflow Catback

Westers Tune or PCM's for less

Synth Diff Fluids

Mobil 1 5w40, AC Delco filter

2600 stall TC?

 

Anything above that wouldn't be wise? I am not sure they make a TC for AWD that is why the question mark on that. The mods should make about a 40-50 hp and 2-3 mpg increase from what I have read. Looking for a balance of power and mpg FYI.

The things listed won't hurt, I wouldn't do the TB bypass or the porting, gains will be negligible so why bother IMO.

That looks good. Maybe you could go with a performance exhaust.

You "might" lose a tenth or two mpg by going w/ 5w-40 instead of 5w-30; are you going with the 40 so as to lessen the impact of possible engine knock noise?
