Idle Speed 99 Tahoe

What is the idle spec for a 5.7L Vortec 99 Tahoe?

 

I get just below 600rpm in park and about 500 in drive when warm. This creates a bit of an idle "shudder".

 

What is the procedure for upping the idle a bit?

Your idle sounds fine, but it may need a tune up if you are shuddering at idle. You are better off finding the cause of the shudder than putting a band-aid on it.

I've done quite a tune up already. So far:

 

Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter, fuel filter, cleaned throttle body and IAC passages.

 

Not sure what to do next...

That was my first guess. But nothing obvious

sprayed carb cleaner around and nothing.

 

If it is a vac leak it is very small.
