Wheel Bearings

Ok, not only is there window issues with my truck, I know have a "howl" coming from the passenger front wheel assembly. Is it more likely to be a axle bearing or a wheel bearing assembly? What a PITA this thing is getting to be. If it is wheel bearing, what does "the book" say on time to replace? And can you buy just the bearing, or does it have to be the whole hub assembly for a 4x4?

If I'm not mistaken you have to change the hub assembly.
