Stalling Truck! HELP!

I have a 95 2500 4x4 manual silverado, the truck is stalling without any type of warning. no lights or anything. i can be driving and the truck just dies. I have check the batteries and cables, air filter is clean new fuel filter installed by dealer which they figured was the problem. The truck can be hard to start after it stalls but usually fires right up. Any suggestion would be great!

need more info.

1. when does it do it (ex. highway, city on accle deccel, at a stop accle from a stop ?????

2. what does to do when it happens. (ex. spudder like out of fuel, vehicle dies like someone cut out you elcetrical system far as no power when it happens all elc is gone radio, dash lights off)

3. do you have any long crank problems in the morning or after it has been driven for a while

 

just give me some idea and i should be able to tell you what it is

it will die anytime unexpected, worse when cold start, stalls less often when has been running for a while, it is hard to crank sometimes after the stall and other time fire right back up! it is like something kills the electrical to the engine!!!

Common problem for GM 6.5 the PMD (Pump mounted driver) goes bad depending on mileage of truck you may qualify for extended warranty replacement 11yr, 120K miles, if you are out of that window I strongly suggest a remote mounted driver from Heath Diesel it has a 7 yr warranty no one else offers.

 

I assume the truck dies /stumbles/and shuts off just as if you turned off the key, sometimes it restarts and other times it does not start. i also suggest you swing by www.thedieselplace.com they are more diesel oriented site, swing by the FAQ section in the locked threads of the 6.5 forum for a full troubleshooting of stall conditions.
