Several hours at least for all that. It depends on how much dust and debris is caked onto your paint, and how detailed you are. What kind of lubricant are you using?

Mothers is good. Meguiars makes a good kit as well. I just did mine for the first time early last month...results were excellent.

I did mine after 5 years and the results were amazing. The paint is like glass. It's much easier to keep clean. I used Meguiars too.

WOW.....It was well worth it. I can't believe how much it shines. I'll post pics later. You guys are awesome.....but making me poor. So many things I wanna do with my truck now. Body lift coming this week. New tires and wheels later.

That's good to hear man. And yeah, definitely get some shots of it. I'll probably wind up doing mine again next month or so.

Yeah that looks pretty sharp bishop. I'll definitely need to do mine agin fairly soon, and then soon thereafter, it'll get covered in a bunch of yellow pollen again!!

Yep. I just did the clay bar thing / Meguiar's NXT liquid wax treatment on my truck this past weekend and it's already starting to get coated in pollen.

BTW, thumbs up to the guys that recommended the NXT wax- I was worried about wax residue on all my flat black plastic trim (moldings, fender flares, mirror housing, etc.). Even though I know I had to have got some wax on it the NXT doesn't leave the whitish residue. I need to clean and treat my moldings again anyway though, because the small indentation running the length of each about 1/2" from the top has a light brown coating of dust in it that I missed when I washed it.

I know what you mean about the pollen. We had literally about a 2 minute light sprinkle at most, but when I checked the truck after work, the hood was all dusty-ish. Sure enough, looked like pollen to me. I put some NXT on on Sunday, and despite the layer of pollen, she still looks great from a distance.

Get Meguirer's or Mother's ONLY.

Clay Magic SUCKS.

Autozone, Hi/Lo, any decent auto parts store should have it. If you can't find it near by, it's available online.

I have a BRAND-NEW, unopened Clay Magic set..... anybody want to buy it ?? Cheap  !!!!!!!!
