During a live report in New York yesterday a couple of guys walked up behind the reporter and held up an O&A sign and were really not doing much else. The reporter turns around and asks the guy "What's your *uckin problem" while still live on the air! Love my XM here in Canada even though I'm breaking the law every time I turn it on.

We've got a morning show on the station in town that they used to be on here that's pretty good. The one guy takes dares every Friday and got electrocuted licking a bug zapper one time. It would be Dare Dieter. Here's their site:

becasue its against the law to transmit signals like that in canadian air ways or something like that. Some stupid law of theirs.

The CRTC (Like the FCC) won't license XM or Sirius because they don't meet the limits set out for Canadian content. 35 per cent of all music aired each week on all AM and FM stations must be Canadian. In addition, 35 per cent of music broadcast between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday must consist of Canadian content. Same reason we can't legally subscribe to Direct or Dish satellite TV. They are trying to acquire licensing now but will have to adjust their programming to meet the regulations.
