350 Starting Hesitation

I have an 89 GMC 350 and having some starting problems. I can see gas coming out of the electronic fuel injectors into the butterfly but its taking 8-10 seconds before the engine fires.

 

I'm lost as to what I should be checking or fixing. Any help woudl be much appreciated.

start with a simple tune up(air and fuel filter, spark plugs) and clean the injection system......simply pour some seafoam as instructed through the TBI.

 

 

see if that helps. its usually the simple things on these motors.
