If this has anything to do with the T-Case going out thread maybe the loss of communication is causing it to act strange, thus you think it is going out. Maybe one of the plugs came off so that the truck and t-case aren't working together. If not that might be a bad sensor... or I don't know... :thumbs:

Thats not my thread. This is on a 2000 Blazer

This refers to a loss in the link between the computer and Automatic Transfer Case (ATC). Check the connection at the Transfer Case shift control 2 module. These are located to the left of the instrument cluster under the dash up behind the fuse panel and headlight switch.

The truck went to the dealer Tues??? They read the code and it happened twice. Got the could not duplicate. Well it went off again today and my dad took it in. Havent heard anything as of yet from him

Well an update. The dealership had the blazer for 2 days. Couldnt find anything. They replaced a fuse. We will see what happens

hi ! i'm from quebec and i have the same bug with my atc and my mecanic man dont know if we have to change the atc module behind the dash or the encoder at the transfer case , it's like yours the atc don't match with the rest of the truck...

If you know... please help me...

My mom had a similar problem 3 yrs ago with the blazer. They changed the encoder motor. The only difference was she was in 4wd and it would not disengage. This time the 4wd system works fine.

 

The service advisor said the minute the lights go on drive straight to the dealership. The only good thing out of it all is they only charged her the original diagnosis fee of $55 so far which is nice considering it has been in the shop twice (3 days) in the past week.
