Arrow Direction Lamps (Addons)

Hopefully this is the right forum. Has anyone installed those add-on directional arrows for the side mirrows. Instructions say to install positive wire directly to the appropriate turn signal fuse and ground off the neutral wire. Is this the way to go, or is there a better way? Thanks

I added signals to my Silverado - I don't know what you drive though. Remove the dash pieces around the steering wheel. Directly under the steering column is two wires that hook up to the instrument/gauge cluster. The wires are light green and dark green, for left and right signals (If I remember correctly). Just splice into those. Use a wire tester, it'll blink with the correct turn signal. Then I just grounded a wire into the steel dash frame.
