Ok this is my second order.  I still have Z-1 Precleaner left so i dont need that

 

I am ordering Z-2 and Z-5 for sure.  What else if anything would yu recommend.

 

Whats this Z-6 gloss enhancer?  How do you apply it?

Haven't used the z-6.

Go over to ls1.com then go to "Showcar and Detailing. This is where this question has been asked a gazillion times. Also the 1st place I learned of Zaino and you can catch a GP (group purchase) if your lucky and get a free bottle of carwash!

I need to re-order also, lets try to get a GP going?

have to have z1 if using z2. I use z1, z2 and z5.

I second checking out other forums.

 

Z2 & Z5 are good.  Don't bother with Z5 if you don't have swirl marks to remove.  Also, expect it to take 3-5 coats of Z5 to fill the fine scratches.  If you get the latest/greatest stuff, you no longer need Z1.  

 

I use Z6 all the time, but have found Meguires or Mothers detailers work just as well.

guys i have used Z2 and Z5 (i am out and need some more for spring).  I know how to use it (have put on multiple coats).  I have Z1 left over (half bottle).  

 

I was just wonder what the Z-6 does and how it is applied and if i should order anything else

Ryan -- Have you ever tried the z-7 (Ithink that's it) the car wash stuff.  I use it a little bit makes alot of suds.  Also, I used the claybar and was very happy with that.  Other than that if you got the z-1 & z-2 you should be set.  Also I heard the new ZFX is out it's supposed to be like having both the z-1 & z-2 but less drying time.  Question -- how many coats do you put on??

My understanding and experience is that the Z6 Gloss enhancer is a necessary step...use it inbetween coats of the other stuff....I have only Zaino'ed using the whole nine yards including the enhancer so I cant speak about what it looks like without using it.....can attest to the results with it though...

Ryan Z-6 is a gloss enhancer, you use it after you wash and you aren't going to use the other Z stuff.  You lightly MIST it on and immediately wipe it off with a towel, gives you a nice shine.  

 

I ordered the new stuff ZFX, but haven't got it yet.  They send it in a little vial with an eye dropper, and also send you some small mixing bottles.  You put your Z-2 or 5 in the mixing bottle and then add a few drops of the ZFX, you have to use it within 12 hours or it goes bad, but you can put on multiple coats in the same day.  It accelerates the curing time of Z and you don't have to use the Z-1.  This will probably be a good deal for you especially in the fall before the weather gets bad, you can put on 2 or 3 coats in the same day and be set for the winter.

 

Z-7 carwash works great and smells good too.

never used the car wash stuff.

 

Memorial day weekend over a span of 3 days i put on 4-5 coats (5 on front 4 on the rear portion).  Thats all i did last yr didnt really have time to do more

I like their car wash, it seems to work well in conjunction wsith the rest of the system.  I was kinda scared to use anything else!  Hate to ruin all the work on getting it to look good.......

I would order some Z2 polish, Z6 spray enchancer and Z7 Car wash(in your case truck wash)

Z6 is great. I use it all the time. When my vehicle is dusty I go over it with a California car duster(very lightly) and shoot it with Z6. Very fine mist and wipe it off.  It gives you that just washed look and saves alot of time by not washing.  

If you have any swirl marks go for the Z5. I put on Z5 coat every 3 coats of Z2.

I also use Z5 on the rims. Z5 is more durable than Z2 and repels brake dust,keeps them cleaner longer and makes clean up easier.  

The car wash soap is good also. Foams good, has polish in it and smells great

Lotans right...its been a while since I Zaino'ed...the smell is GREAT!!! Like bubble gum!!!!

 

Hmmmm...theres an idea...."Chewing Zaino".......blow bubbles, smell good and polish your teeth at the same time.....Get their Z-6 "Gum Enhancer"...use it between brushings..
