Power me up

I want to give my truck some power and install power locks and windows. Has anyone done this on a new silverado or sierra? I just wanted to know what I will all need and what kind of $$$$ I would be looking at. Any info would be appreciated.

I've seen the kits for sale but I don't remember how much... You can even get them with the "keyless entry" key fob.

It wouldn't surprise me if some of the wiring was already there.

The only thing is that you wouldn't be able to have the buttons on the arm rest unless you went and got all the necessary interior pieces at the junk yard. Maybe you can find them when you find your seat?!?!?

I know that you can order the new door parts so that wouldn't be a problem. And I've seen the kits at JC Whitney for about 250. I just was wondering if anyone had done this and had some more info.

I had an friend that was a stereo installer that would do exactly what you are asking for dealerships all the time. Check with a local stereo shop. If the installers look a little puzzled when you're talking to them, walk away and find another shop.

There is a good stereo store that I know of down the street from where I work, that is where I was planning on getting the install done. Later this week I'm going to check witht them to see what they think.
