When to change the oil?

I just got done replacing a head gasket on my 5.3L vortec and wondered when i should change the engine oil? Should i drain and fill prior to starting or should I let the oil with possible contaminants circulate through the filter before changing?

 

The same goes for the coolant. When should I flush, or do I need to?

change it ASAP!!...both the oil and antifreeze, it's common sence when doing a head gasket.
