2001 Silverado - Is the plastic window for the guage cluster glued in? If so, what is the best way to remove it to install a bezel? Thank you

I think what you're trying to ask is if the plastic window is glued to the bezel around the instrument panel/ac/radio etc, which it is not. The plastic window is part of the instrument panel assembly. To remove the bezel, drop the truck into 1st, tilt the steering wheel all the way down, and simply pull it off!

Thanks for the input. No problems removing the guage cluster. I would like to install a chrome bezel over the existing one that surrounds the gauges. Has anyone removed the plastic protective window so I can add this mod. Hope this clears thing up.

You can take a razor knife and cut the sealant out. Just do the top half and it will give you enough room to squeeze the bezel in there. I did it on my 2000 & 2002 trucks with no problems.
