Grille and bumper questions?

I saw a picture of a Black Suburban that was totally "blacked" (bumpers, grille, airdam were all painted black to match) out. I have a black '02 silverado and was looking to go with that look and looking for some help on how to do it. I know the easy response would be to paint it but I know thats not thr right way to do it.

 

For the front I am going to get the grille from an '02 Z71 Tahoe. But below the grille you have a plastic piece? then the chrome bumper? and the airdam with the lights. For the Airdam I was going to get the Piaa Airdam with the lights (is the Piaa Airdam ready to paint?)

 

As for the bumper in the back I am clueless on what to do? I dont think I want to go with a rollpan though? Any help or links to sites that can help would be greatly appreciated...

You can get a smooth bumper cap for your front bumper and you can order a fully black tahoe grille (gm part number on my site).  As for the PIAA, it comes in black.  You may want to scope out T Byrne's web site sine they have a 10% off deal right now.  The PIAA is paintable, but you may not need to if the black matches yours.  As for painting the rear bumper, find a guy w/ the base bumper that has the grayish color and see if he'll trade.  Chances are they'll jump on the opporturnity to trade there plain bumper for a chrome one.  The grayish one should be a lot easier to paint as well.  If you haven't done so already you can paint the chrome inserts on your mirror too.  Ryanbab has done this and he should be able to give you some insight on how to do it.

You could also have the bumpers re-chromed in "black chrome"... (yes there is such a thing).  I have no idea what that would cost though...
