04 denali nav installation

I have 04 yukon denali. I just purchased the touch screen nav system w/y91 complete with antenna and nav disk. My question is i have read alot about installation and people keep on saying you have do a jumper for the speed sensor. Is that for all nav system? or for only certain ones.

The VSS wire is for all the factory Delphi nav systems.

Your Denali should have that wire in the harness. The vehicles that had the option from the factory to have the navigation have the speed sensor signal wire in them. Only the people that put the nav systems in vehicles that didn't offer the nav have to add that wire, that would be the trucks, and all 03 models.
