Chad H Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 Hey guys, I was wondering if anybody knew of any changes to be made to the 2006 Z-71 Tahoe Tahoe/Suburbans? I was just wondering as I am fixing to purchase an 2006 in about 2 months. The only thing I noticed is that it looks like Chevy has combined XM and OnStar into one antenna thats kinda ugly, but I can deal with that. As long as they don't mess with the interior or exterior. Anyway, anybody have any input? Thanks, Chad
Elwood 2000 Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 The rear window is a bit different, more squared off. Not sure about the Tahoe, but the Suburban offers a LTZ package which is pretty sharp looking.
Supurban Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 The rear window is a bit different, more squared off. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've seen this rear window. It looks great - updated to look like a GMC envoy rear glass/trim. 2006 the liftgate is standard - I don't know if this means ambulance doors are still available.
Markeaux Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 New 2007 Tahoe, Escalade, etc are coming in Jan06 http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2050002 ... I heard they will be unveiled at the State Fair of Texas Auto Show, Sep 30, 2005 to Oct 23, 2005 Dallas TX
zippy Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 if i recall the LTZ 1500 suburban will have the 335hp 6.0L. that's quite an improvement.
BL650 Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 GM is going back to drums on the rear on all 1500 series due to the park brake problems.
