FS: 1993 GMC Typhoon

I have decided to sell off my Typhoon and move on to another vehicle that will entertain me for a while. The truck is in great shape. For more pictures, email me and I will get them for you as soon as possible.

Engine - It has had a top end rebuild including a new cam($215), lifters($200), push rods($40), and a rebuilt throttle body($80). The cam is a .500/.500 lift with a duration of Duration at .050(I/E)=210/215 with a lobe seperation of 112*. It also has a custom made 3" downpipe ($500) and turbo back 3" exhaust ($200). A 140 amp powermaster chrome alternator ($180) and a DC Control 3800 CFM Electric Fan ($300).

 

Fuel - it has 50lb injectors ($300) and a 255 lph Walboro fuel pump ($100) already

installed.

 

Transmission - Rebuilt Transmission($800) by Art Car shifts hard and strong like a healthy transmission should.

 

Suspension and brakes - It has a 12" big brake kit upgrade for the front brakes from Baer ($300) and can hold over 10psi of boost at the line. It also has a suspension techniques rear sway bar($100).

 

Interior - A-Pillar gauge pod with an electric Autometer Cobalt Boost/Vac gauge($150) and an electric Autometer Cobalt Transmission temperature gauge($80). The seats and all interior parts are in great condition. Wear in some parts of the back pastic peices. Also, a MOMO tight radius steering wheel has been installed ($250).

 

Sound - Pioneer Single CD player and Jenson Subwoofer ($150) gives great sound in the truck.

 

This Typhoon has been looked after with the utmost care. Tune ups and oil changes have been preformed on time and early. Synthetic oil was always used. It even won an award at the Summit Truck Fest 2004 Show for top 10 SUVs.

 

KBB has it rated at $10,500 with 148,000 miles. With the added mods worth $3,595 above it becaomes worth retail about $14,195.

 

I am selling the Typhoon outright for $11,900. Reasonable offers always considered.
