4.56's at a minimum which will perform like 3.73's on 265's. You can run 4.88's if you want to have LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of fun blowing the doors off of everyone at stop lights.

Here is my old truck. She had an RCD 6" Lift, 3" Body Lift, 16x10" Wheels and 315/75r16 All-Terrains turned by 4.88:1 Gears. This was my FAVORITE combination. I later pulled downgraded to 4.56 and upgraded to 37" Swampers. Both were very stupid moves. The 4.88s and 35's gave me so much low end power the front end would rise up and the rear would squat. When I upgraded to 37's and 4.56's, I got worse mileage and little power.

I kinda thought i would be good with 4.56's it sound like my best choice

After reading vhato's post, Sounds like you'd want the 4.88's.

Especially if you ever have a desire to ever run a larger tire...IMO its better to have a little more gear than you need than not enough.

Go to randy's ring and pinion, he has a gear calculator, which shoudl allow you to figure out the perfect gear.
