GM Fender Flares

I have an 2002 Indigo Blue Silverado, I did not get fender flares because they told me that my only option for my color was the textured black ones.  I remember seeing something about being able to get smooth ones that you can paint from gm. Does anyone have a part number for these.  Also someone was trying to tell me that they are available prepainted in the Indigo Blue.  If this is true does anyone know the part number for those instead?  I can't see how they can come prepainted in this color if you couldn't originally order them that way!! I also have molded mud flaps on right now and I know they will not work with flares, so I will need new ones any suggestions?  Thanks

I have the flares on my truck and I am using the Husky molded flaps that work with the flares.

I have plain old black flares on my 1500.  Check into the prices.  It may be cheaper to order unpainted ones and then have them painted at a local body shop.

Either way they arent cheap from GM... I looked into it and it is cheaper to get them painted yourself..

Anyone have an idea why I can order painted flare but couldn't get them with my truck?? Just curious!

 

Also does someone  have the part numbers for the smooth unpainted gm flares?

I got those part numbers from gmpartsdirect.com.  Their prices are good but the shipping and handling is big $$$.  I think shipped they would be about $275.  

 

You can check there for the black ones (look at Sierra's because the Silverado link wouldn't work for me) or look for the bushwacker brand at an accessory store or website.  They make some that look exactly like OEM flares.
