Motocross type Question

Just bought my boys a YZ 125... We have three quads and an enclosed trailer, but I 'm not dragging the trailer out for a short local trip to get them on the bike for the first time. So... how the hell do I load this thing safely with out a long ramp by my self? I know this question might sound stupid. I do have ramps but they are short and for the trailer... no way I'm trying to ride up a 2x4... with my luck I'll end up on the roof!! ha ha... seriously I want to do this right and show my 11 yr old the right way and not hurt anyone. I'm guessing I just try to push it up the board and have some one balance it while I hold the break and climb up in the bed and roll it forward. Thanks... and your welcome to those that are laughing like I am... :chevy:

Either back up to a ramp that is near the height of the tailgate or back down into a ditch and load. If you have neither, then it is either take the trailer or have a few buddies help lift the bike into the truck. Two guys lift the front tire into the bed while another balances bike...guy in the bed then rolls the bike into position and straps down.

sorry dude, depending on how high your truck is, you need a ramp, we used to have a 4x4 2500 and you absolutely needed 2 people, you could get an 8 foot ramp for like 60 bucks i think (aluminum) and put a crate right behind the truck and walk it up but you gotta get some speed going and jump up on the tailgate after. The ditch method is good, we always used this when there was one, whatever you do dont ride it up the ramp, ive seen some quadders do this and wheelie over and end up with a quad on their lap. I know what you mean you dont wanna take the enclosed, those things are pita, i sold mine but got a double rack from joe hauler, real sturdy you might wanna check into that b/c that only takes 1 person.
