Well another "wreckfest" at 'dega,I wish NASCAR would do something about this, like either take the restrictor plates off (My vote!) or remove some bracing underneath the front bumpers so these guys can't "bump-draft" so d@*n hard!

These plate races are not even fun or enjoying to watch anymore,It seems like the good racing dosen't even start until about 10-15 laps to go

And whats up the NASCAR throwing the yellow flag on the last lap like that when Kyle Petty was in no danger to himself or anyone else :D

They should have let them race back to the checkered flag,I guess NASCAR wanted to decide who finished where because basically thats what they did,I mean we have no way of knowing who actually finished where they did do we?

I agree that they should make some changes somewhere. I'm not so sure that removing the restrictor plates is the right way to go though, because I think any wreck at those speeds would be much more dangerous. But I do like the idea of less bracing in the front ends, and it seemed alot of drivers liked that idea too.

As for the yellow falg at the end. I understand what you're saying, but when it comes to safety, I would rather err on the side of caution. It didn't bother me that it happened; we all knew that it was a possibility when they went to the green-white-checkered rule. At least they told you up front what to expect, rather than waiting until it happened and making up a rule for it.

I don’t mind plate races, what I do mind is pussys like Jimmy Johnson who sit there and blame the person behind him (Dale JR) for hitting him, when you can plainly see it was all jimmy's fault. Of course he does this all the time just like his flamer of an owner Gordon

I couldn't agree more bobcat,It was clearly Jimmies fault,I just loved how he blamed Jr. for that one,Jr. wasn't even close to him!

Like you said,Look at his owner!

I do believe this should be the last straw for NASCAR re Jimmie Johnson. This is 3 wrecks caused directly by him in the last 3 plate races. Then you have Phoenix, where Johnson wrecked Smoke.

Those Hendricks boys are so flipping winey and now that Jimmie blew a tire, what's he gonna do - probably blame it on a piece pavement.

I heard the cheers when the 48's tire blew. It just proves to me even more why I do not like Johnson. How many wrecks has he caused this year and tries to pin the blame on someone else?

And the crowd goes wild as the Jack@ss loses a tire from the damage he caused to his own car.

Jimmie has shown he cannot drive at plate tracks. Time and time again, he just does stupid thing. He needs to be parked for the rest of this race.

Same plate race as the spring, just a better winner, Glad to see Jarred win one, and GO SMOKE!!! Back on top!! another top five at at restrictor plate!

What thy should do is remove the plates and make the cars handle like crap. Make them use tires with less width, regulate a spring package which makes the cars bounce and sway, change the rear spoiler to remove downforce, Make the drivers use the brakes, then they put the racing back to the driver and crew. Right now what we have is like IROC, the cars are about all the same.

As the yellow goes, they say it was for "safty crews". But Kyle did not stay put, he crossed the finish line with a badly dammaged car.

I just hope and pray that Jimmie doesn't win at Lowe's next week (Or as he calls it..."My house') when I'm down there,I've seen him win enough down there!

catiaeng,I agree with removing the plates and make the cars handle "crappier"

I like Jimmy Johnson.

He makes NASCAR more entertaining for those of us who don't normally watch it. (Pittsburgh wasn't playing...Nothing was on  )

Kidding...That guy needs an attitude adjustment...The kind administered with a pink slip and a number for your appointment with the unemployment office.

Actually if I remember correctly JR said He got into Jimmy as Jimmy was braking to keep from hitting Sadler. It's a racing deal and it happens. Dale SR was alot more worse of a racer than Jimmy Johnson and I never complained when SR wrecked my guys. Classic example of bump drafting was Ryan Newman in that same race and he was never mentioned about that incident!

I love restrictor plate racing it's a few drivers out there that are way aggressive at times but NASCAR's new rules package can suck my left nut. What you see on TV is NOT racing.

Read that article and then respond telling me hendrick gets away with everything. Biffle and harvick both talked on NASCAR.com about running the same shocks as hendrick. It's just hendrick knew exactly how to run them. No rules were broken either!

NASCAR has gotten so far out of hand about this chase thing too. I HATE IT!

NASCAR is all about who's got the money and BIG MONEY.

Yea,I heard Jr. on XM say he got into Johnson,But I just don't see it,I mean when you watch the replay he was nowhere close to Johnson,Not until Johnson hit Sadler and slowed, then Jr. hit Johnson.
