Does your EQ return to NORMAL

Each time I turn the HU off, the EQ will automatically return to the NORMAL setting. Is this standard? or does your eq maintain other settings after a power cycle?

 

Any ideas what may cause this?

Yup, each preset has a DSP setting "locked" to it. In order to get it to stay on "spacious" or whatever you want it to stay on, you have to set the DSP to Spacious, then tune to the radio station you want, then press and hold the preset button to "save' the preset. Then that preset will always load with the SPacious DSP setting. Repeat with the other 5 presets and you'll be good to go and it will always stay on the DSP setting you want..
