Lift Kit vs. Supercharger

I was looking for opinion's on whether I should get a Lift kit or a supercharger on my o5 Z71 with the 5.3. If I get a lift I would only get about a 3" (due to towing a 26' camper). I'm not sure abouth the s/c due to problems I may have down the road to the motor. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If ya get a supercharger you'll need to upgrade the tranny some if ya tow or play hard. They are marginal stock. Of course with a lift and bigger tire's your kinda doin the same thing. In either case get a tranny cooler. Check out the sts turbo also. Do you wheel it? A lift greatly adds to the 4x4 experence. If it's street queen go for some 285's some wheels and a power adder.

You more interested in looking cool or performance? To me its a no-brainer. Get the supercharger.

To reap the full benefit of the blower, you will have to beef the tranny. ESPECIALLY since you have a Z71. More stress on that 4L60E and trust me, it wont take it.

get the magnacharger radix, i have one on my 2k 5.3, awsome kit, has been trouble free and works great when towing. i also have a 6" lift and 35"s

you should also to some trans work, a good shift kit, replace the 3 plastic pinned servo's with aluminum pinnless, get a hardend seperator plate, and a trans fliud cooler
