Leveling the Truck out

So I decided to level the truck out and beef up the front suspension a little to handle my new 8' Ultra Mount Snow Plow.

Total of 11 turns on the torsion bar bolts leveled out the front of my truck with the rear. I also replaced my stock bump stops with a set of timbrens to help the suspension a little more with the plow on it.

It is amazing how the stock bump stops take such a beating after only 34,000 miles. They were completly blown away. Now the truck actually rides like a truck and not as bouncy in the front.

I am thinking about some new 255/85/16's for the front of the truck, they seem like they will fit perfectly. Any one else run these tires on the stock 6.5" wheels?

I just put the 255/85/16's on and I like them. At first I had my mind set on Toyo m55's but after calling around the lowest price that I could find for them was $196.00 a piece so I kept looking and found the Dunlap rvxt and a Kelly Springfield trail cutter. My local discount tire guy orderd a set of both of them and after looking at the two of them side by side I chose the Trail cutter. They ended up costing $612.00.

We have already had one good heavy snow of about 9" and the tires did great. I made a trip to Omaha and it rained most of the way and they felt as good or better than any tire that I've ever owned. I even kind of like the pizza cutter looks.

This is the first time I've ever put tires on a truck that were not BFG a/t's and I'm still a little skeptical but its been a month now and I could not be happier with my choice.

While the over all diameter is listed as 33" they measure out at 32.25" the overall width is 8.5". I didnt have to do any trimming but my t-bars are cranked to 10 turns to help with the wieght of the bumper.

I run 255/85R16. . . They are great, and they don't rub (at least on my truck) Look at Delta Sierradials (pretty sure its the at tire) Mine have over 50k on them, and they still have over 60% of their tread intact.
