I have an 04 silverado 1500 ext. cab 4x4 with a 5.3l engine. My first question is today for the first time I noticed that the passenger mirror will not defrost when i put the mirror defrost on. Is this common? What is the fix. The truck is still under warranty, but I was just looking for some general info, and i'll bring it to the dealer for repair. My second question is, I have that d**n driveline clunk, only when going to and from a stop. It does not clunk between 2nd and 3rd, or 3rd to 4th gear. Is this more of the slip yoke, that I'm reading about? My dealer says it's normal, no repair necessary. It is definately getting worse. Has anyone replaced the slip yoke yourself? Where did you buy the nickel plated slip yoke? Any way I can get the dealer to replace it under warranty?
