Need Information On Non Touch Screen Navagation

I just joined the site because it looks to be very helpful... So here is my question I have a 2005 GMC 1500 Sierra That I am looking to put the Non Luxury Non touch screen navagation in my truck... It is NOT Y91 it is a UQ7 The model number for the Non touch screen navagation system is 15108421 is what everyone tells me and here is where I am confused most people tell me as long as the unit is new and has never been in another vehicle or been used it is a plug and play deal and that is it... And if it has been in a vehicle then you need to go to the dealer to get it unlocked.... I just need to know if this will work and if this is the right part number and once again it is for the Non touch screen with buttons on the right side and a toggle on the left side at the bottom any help from anyone on this subject would be very thankful....

Just a question if you don't mind; but why the old INR with joystick? It's a really frustrating user interface.
