Heeding several earlier posts regarding aftermarket

bedrail protectors, I decided to purchase the OEM

protectors from GMC. With the appearance, fit, and finish,

the GM protectors are the only way to go. Part # for the

short bed 12496453. They come with an instruction sheet, and four plugs for the stake pockets, if you like. Not cheap, they list for $ 192.29, cost depends if you have an account or not.

I got em and they should be offered as an option cause they sure look good.
