'05 Yukon Denali muffler - Flowmaster 50?

Hello folks, I posted a topic a few months ago looking for advice on mufflers but I'm now actually following through. I just wanted to get some opinions first.

I have a 2005 Yukon Denali with the 6.0L V8 and am considering a Flowmaster 50 Series Delta. I want a fairly mellow tone that's not obnoxiously loud or harsh and I'd prefer to go with FlowMaster (I prefer the tone over Magnaflow). My brother has a 40 series on his Silverado and it's plenty loud. I like that sound but would like the volume to match the vehicle (I need to keep the Denali classy, right?). So, I'm basically asking if the 50 Delta seems like a good option or if you recommend something a little louder, like the 30 series.

Thanks for any advice.

I've had a 50 on my ECSB pickup for a while and love it.

On a SUV, you may have some incab droning issues with a 50 series muffler. Maybe a 70 series?

Flowmasters sound badass, but alot of droning can be annoying.

I had the 50 Delta Flow on a couple a weeks ago and while I loved the sound outside there was too much resonance in the cabin. I switched to the 70BBII and love it. Nice sound outside, you know you are not running stock and very acceptable sound in the cabin. I have to think the 50 DF on a yukon would be very harsh inside. I do wish the 70 was a little louder outside but overall its a much better fit to my likings.

I ended up going with the 50 series SUV and am very happy with it. The sound is nice and deep, plenty loud, but interior resonance isn't a problem. The sound is nice and loud on acceleration but fades away when cruising. I definitely recommend it for full-size SUVs. Thanks for everyone's advice!

i have been selling exaust products for quite a while now in a parts dept. and i think it realy becomes a matter of taste if you want aggressive sound all the time i would say go with flowmaster, if you want just an exaust system with decent sound and awsome bolt on abilities id say go with gibson, i never knew anyone that was jumping up and down about dynamax so dont know what to tell you there but one system ive been impressed with is Corsa Performance they have not only this very signature sound but d**n nere perfect workmanship on the product there selling.

I work at a chevy dealer and soon gm is or more less going to use Borla performance as there own exaust for the consumer, GM has been using Corsa , this probley cuz they were the first GM licened exaust system, but as we all know gm dosent stay with anything to long. Ive been dealing with Corsa for a while if there customer service dosent blow you away just look at the quality put in to the product. The borla systems just came in the other day and honestly i like them but the welds are allittle rough around the edges and they had a little burn on the case of the muffler. The corsa kit is made out of 304 stainless and most of the system is polished so it looks as good as it sounds under the truck.

Anyway id say if you want to make a classy statement and have a nice bolt on system that if anything will work well with the appreance of your denali and be quiet when you want it to be and loud when you need it .. call up corsa
