my buddie has a 2001 GMC 4.6l 4x4 standerd cab long box with an aoutomatic. When he shuts it off sumtimes it will try to start it self liek he will b in the house keys in his pocket and it will jus start turning over but wont start and drain the battery.

Christine is an 80's movie based on a Stephen King novel were a car ('58 Plymouth Fury) is possesed (and quite obviously, a jealous female) and drives around killing people...Without a driver.

 

I'm not a horror fan, but it's a pretty good flick.

 

As to your buddy's problem, I would start by immediately rewiring the battery, starter, and alternator...With emphasis on the starter.

 

Unless he has a remote starter installed, in which case, I'd start there.

 

But I certainly wouldn't be leaving it sit with the battery plugged in.

 

Oh, and be happy it isn't a standard transmission. It would take off by itself if that were the case.

lol haha i get it now but ya he jus put in a new silonoid and it used to have comend start and he got teh box taken out and it still does it i told him jus to put sum gas on the starter or battery so when it gets hot enough cranking it self over it will catch fire
