Clip on the inside of the glove box door

I went out to check my RPO codes and noticed that on the back of the dash glove box door face, over on the RH side is a flat area with a long rectangular recess and two clips.

Looks like its supposed to retain something (that isn't there on my truck). Since I bought the truck used, I have no idea what's supposed to go there.

Probably not a biggie, but I'm curious if anyone knows what it's for?

I keep the ears of my victims attached there when I'm not wearing my necklace.

:cheers::D:D

My tire pressure gauge goes there. Otherwise, it would be lost in all the junk.

WOW! I thought I was the only one with an ear necklace. Although I hang mine from the rear view mirror. I keep the insurance card and a tire pressure guage in the clip.

I can't do that, the natural parabolic shape of the ears causes interferance with the OnStar signal when I hang them from the mirror.

Use a little aluminum foil, keeps the interferance down to a minumum.

It also helps if you fill the cigarette ashtray with teeth, preferably with fillings. I don't know why it works but it must be the metal in the fillings.

I tend to do that to threads. Either I turn them to the darkside or just kill them outright! Hehehe
