radio trouble

Anyone have there cd player quit on them ? I was listening to a cd the other dayand all of a sudden no sound, so I switched to fm and that worked. It's been going on for about a week now and if I switch to fm and wait 30 seconds or so it will play again for about 2-3 minutes and then quit again. I did notice that my cd was quite warm so thought maybe the cooling fan quit but wouldn't that cause the whole radio to shut down and not just the cd player ?

When mine went out it just all of a sudden quit playing cd's. I could play the radio but that was it. When I took it in to the dealership they said that the cd player was bad and they replaced it with another one about a week later.
