A couple projects completed

Last summer I got a couple outside mirrors from a Tahoe (got them for the puddle lights) for pretty cheap off of E-bay. They both happen to come with heated mirror glass, so I finally got around to swapping out the HVAC controls to one with the defrost button and adding a relay under the hood to the electrical center. The drivers side mirror didn't heat up, so I pulled the mirror off to make sure the leads were hooked up tight. I ended up cracking the mirror glass taking it off. So, I found a set of heated glass on E-bay for around $25. Kind of makes me think about trying to find a rear window with defrost to add now.

I also installed replaced all the factory speakers with some Pioneeer's. Nothing fancy, just some 4640's and 1640's I got for pretty cheap, but they do sound slightly better than stock. When I took the front door speakers out, both had the speaker surrounds broken/deteriorated. As a matter of fact, some of it fell out of the speaker while removing the speakers. Thanks to Wingnut for answering a few audio questions for me.

Added some bowtie center caps from and older Calvalier to my wheel center caps. I actually had these on the orginal center caps that came with my Outlaw II wheels, but they were the chromed steel and rusted in about a year. I bought some chromed plastic ones, but never got around to putting the bowtie center caps back on. Here's what they looked like.

Added some of those polished stainless steel covers to the levers of my door handles. Still need to get one for the tailgate handle though.

And lastly, added a billet grille set up to my wife's Saturn Ion quad coupe.

Pretty slick job, my brutha. I think you're right on track with the idea of replacing the rear window. I've gotten spoiled with mine and I know you'll love it.
