REAR WHEELWELLS.....PAINT THEM?

How many of you have painted, undercoated, or whatever to your rear wheelwells in the 99 and up trucks?

I had my truck undercoated at the dealer, and they did the wheel wells. It looks good, better than it did from the factory.

I painted my own with some of that spray on under coating stuff.  Looks much better to me.

Same as Tom, I used the undercoating from AutoZone.

have em sprayed with line-x in the color of your truck.

That's one of the main reasons I sprayed mine.  I didn't want the wheel wells the same color as the truck.

With Tom on this one, white wheel wells are not pretty!

Does it deaden the sound of rocks getting thrown around in there?

I have some pics here of my painted wheelwells.  Go to the mudgard section.  I just used regular flat black paint.  It is not very durable, however.  Undercoating would work much better, IMHO.

I'm going to get mine sprayed at the same place I got my bedliner done within a week or two.  I was going to install my rear lift lips yesterday, but for 3 reasons I decided not to:

 

1. It was way too cold.

2. My 1/4" Drill bit was a bit weak.

3. The guy will just have to take them off when he preps the truck.
