Programming in RPO codes?

:confused: In my truck I have a dimming rear view mirror with onStar, a rear window defroster and power mirrors with no turn signals in them. I just bought a set of side view mirrors off of a guy that have turn signals, self-dimming, defrosters, power adjustment, and curb assist. They are OEM and from the same year as my truck, he just put on a set of extending towing ones on and wanted to get rid of these old ones. Am I going to have to go to the dealer and have them load any new rpo codes into my computer or anything like that, or will they 'just' work if I plug them in? If I do have to have codes inputed, how much should it cost about and is there a real term for what I might need done?
