I'm a newbie from New Mexico. This may seem strange, but I stumbled onto a brand new 8.1 motor. I found this guy that purchased it from GM for his truck and his wife wrecked the truck before he could install it. Long story short... GM wouldn't take it back and I was looking for a motor for my boat, so I bought it. I'm now finding it hard to acquire all the necessary parts for the boat conversion and I'm considering just giving up on the 8.1 and going back to the standard 454. My questions: What should I be able to get for the motor? What would be the best forum for selling it? It is new, sealed in plastic from GM, and still sitting on the pallet.
